Interior Design Brief
The first step is to outline the needs of our clients and share in their vision. In doing so, we are able to understand the full scope of the project and ensure all factors have been properly considered. During requirements meetings, we ask our clients to discuss both what they want logistically and what they are hoping to achieve in the longer term. By doing this, we ensure that we start on the right step, have highlighted the specific skills required throughout and ensure strong communication from day one.
Following a requirements meeting, our team will typically begin pulling together ideas and considering the most effective method for helping our client achieve their aims. This process is typically defined by the project. For larger builds we employ full 3D visualisations, however for smaller projects we typically use a combination of mood boards, concept sketches and presentations to reach a well-defined model that fits with the client’s criteria.
We provide computer generated visuals and synthetic walkthroughs as part of interior design schemes which can also be offered as standalone service. As well as producing 3D walkthroughs, CIDM offers parametric modelling software to produce 3D models of interior design fittings such as reception desks, counters, kiosks and various furniture and shop fitted items. In addition to producing manufacturing drawings, 3D models allow our clients to understand the fine details of a scheme prior to any fit-out taking place.
